The UCLA Club of Orange County and the OC Wolverines had a spectacular evening overlooking the Newport Beach Harbor, drinking wine, tasting gourmet foods and mingling with old and new friends. While some focused on the football season's overall record, other Bruins chose to focus on the victory over the Wolverines. Great time was enhanced by libations and food (of course). A new donor to the scholarship fund was even coaxed to help meet the goal of a $50,000 endowment. As the planning for the end of 2001 and the beginning of 2002 will start soon, another wine tasting is in the stars for the Bruins and the Wolverines.
